"Reacher" Adds Anthony Michael Hall and Sonya Cassidy to Season 3 Cast
Anthony Michael Hall and Sonya Cassidy are set to join the cast of "Reacher" as series regulars for the upcoming third season.
The third season, based on Lee Child's bestselling "Jack Reacher" series, specifically draws from the seventh book, "Persuader." In this installment, Reacher embarks on an undercover mission to rescue an informant held captive by a former adversary.
Hall, known for his roles in "Bosch: Legacy" and "Halloween Kills," will portray Zachary Beck, a prominent businessman and widowed single father with a 20-year-old son named Richard. Beck's rug import business raises suspicions among Reacher and his associates, hinting at darker dealings beneath the surface.
Cassidy, recognized for her work in "The Man Who Fell to Earth" and "Lodge 49," takes on the role of Susan Duffy, a sharp-witted and resourceful DEA agent from Boston. Her character brings intelligence and humor to the table as she navigates challenging situations.
Both actors are represented by reputable agencies, with Hall being represented by Untitled, A3, and Jill Fritzo PR, while Cassidy is represented by UTA and Independent Talent.
"Reacher" is currently in production in Toronto following the renewal announcement for its third season in December. Season 2, released two weeks prior, quickly became the top-watched title on Prime Video during its premiere weekend.
The series is helmed by Emmy-nominated writer Nick Santora, who also serves as executive producer and showrunner. Produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and Paramount Television Studios, "Reacher" features Alan Ritchson in the titular role, with Ritchson, Santora, and Child serving as executive producers for the upcoming season. Additional executive producers include Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Matt Thunell, Carolyn Harris, and Kenny Madrid for Skydance.
